At MGC, our core competences are Rapid Prototyping, Mould making, Injection Moulding and Contract Manufacturing. We have three production facilities in China and one in Cambodia with a total of 350 staff members under western management. We only produce products according to your specifications under the highest quality standards.
MGC was founded in 2005 by the Dutchmen Cornelius Bakker. Mr Bakker has been living in China since 1996. Before Cornelius started his own business, he gained a lot of experience by working at several companies in the injection molding industry. In the beginning MGC was a trading company specialized in the export of injection moulds.
Bart Harleman joined the company. This was a big boost for MGC due to his vast knowledge of injection moulds and the total injection moulding process.
A mould maker joined MGC and soon followed a rapid prototype producer. These staff members are key players of our company ever since.
It was a big year for MCG. In Guangzhou we realized our first manufacturing facility and hired more staff, this enabled us to provide total service to our customers in a protected environment. Soon we had our ISO9001 certification as well. In this year we also started to build our own IT system to improve the flow of information between the client, MGC and its subcontractors.
When we got our facility fully operational, we were surprised by the fact that we immediately got many Chinese costumers. We found out that thanks to our efficiency and in-depth knowledge of mould design, we can compete very well on the local Chinese market. We expanded our IT system, and we also made sure that all our manufacturing processes are in compliance with EU2002/95/EC RoHS Directive
In this year we moved our mould shop to a new and bigger location in Dongguan, and we increased our injection moulding capacity by extending the contract manufacturing facility to a new building in Shenzhen. We also got our ISO 13485 for medical assemblies this year.
We opened our new assembly factory in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, mainly for medical assemblies.
We completed the beta-testing on our integrated IT - system while keeping our daily operations during the year.
With the launch of our new IT system and a new company website we want to transmit our competing value in a more approachable way and let everybody know why MCG is the ideal partner regarding injection molding and/or product development in China.
